In celebration of Creative Director Maximilan Davis’ debut Ferragamo runway collection (Spring/Summer 2023), the company announced a dynamic partnership with luxury multi-brand retailer, The Webster. Beginning March 11th, a bespoke in-store installation and custom window designs were unveiled at The Webster’s Los Angeles outpost and will be running through the end of the month. Davis’ debut collection shows his fresh vision for the house, which recontextualizes–for the modern era–Ferragamo’s longstanding relationship with Hollywood. The collection is imbued with an atmosphere of ease and sensuality, thematically tying the idea of a sunrise’s symbolic clean slate to a sunset’s glowing familiarity. Ferragamo’s new and unmistakable red Pantone color is also observed throughout the partnership across varying interpretations.
The immersive brand experience includes a shoppable pop-up and customized windows, shows a white-to-Ferragamo red degradé set that nods to the artist Rachel Harrison’s Sunset Series (One of Davis’ inspirations for Spring/Summer 2023), along with runway-outfitted mannequins mingling amongst piles of Ferragamo red sand. To celebrate the arrival of the collection, Ferragamo Americas CEO Daniella Vitale and The Webster Founder and CEO Laure Hériard Dubreuil welcomed guests for an Italian-style aperitivo cocktail. Guests in attendance included: Aleali May, Aliyah Wan, Amalie Gassman, Cailin Russo, Caro Daur, Charlotte D’Alessio,Davis Bates, Ganna Bogdan, KAYTRANADA, Kitty Cash, Tania Sarin, Tessa Brooks, Travis Bennett, TyLynn Nguyen, and more.
