Tommy Hilfiger hosted his West Coast friends and family to a VIP cocktail reception to celebrate the launch of his upcoming auction, Property of Tommy Hilfiger at Julien’s Auctions on Thursday, October 19, 2017. The evening welcomed its guests to a live Street Art Auction and a pop up shop of vintage Tommy Hilfiger clothing. The rest of the auction features an iconic collection of artwork, furniture and memorabilia. Quincy Jones, Swizz Beatz, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Lisa Rinna, and Harry Hamlin were in attendance to support their designer friend. During the reception, a pair of denim jeans worn by Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe was being displayed to be auctioned. “I’ve bought three pairs. I gave one to my friend, Naomi Campbell and one to my friend, Britney Spears,” Hilfiger explained. “I’m auctioning off another pair.” A portion of the proceeds will go to Autism Speaks, an advocacy organization that is close to the designer’s heart, whose family has been affected by the disorder.
