Last Thursday night The Art of Elysium and Related Garments joined together in celebrating artist James Goldcrown and the recent success over his work, Love Wall. The Art of Elysium is a non profit organization that empowers artists and communities in need to join together and triumph over their circumstances through art. The celebration for Goldcrown was held at their Los Angeles Art Salon with a performance by musician and Goldcrown’s childhood friend, Sean Gadd, followed by a seated vegan dinner prepare by Marcel Vigneron’s Wolf Dining.
The Art Salon is located on the top two floors of an apartment building in LA’s historical Koreatown. Upon entry guests were greeted with Pestoni Wines and Coco21 coconut water vodka cocktails, and received Related Garments x James Goldcrown custom “bleeding heart” print socks. Goldcrown was joined by Related Garments designers Mike and David Appel, actress Chloe Bridges, music artist Pia Toscano, social influencer Amanda Cerny, Actor Taj Mowry, stylist Annie Ladino, Fashion bloggers Rachel McCord and Elaine Deshrand, Jared Eng, actor Jackie Long and Derek Warburton, among others.
The evening was intimate and we felt like we were experiencing one of LA’s best kept secrets. However, the social change that The Art of Elysium is working towards should be no secret…that’s why we are proud to be exposing such a unique group of artists supporting other artists and giving back to the world. The Art of Elysium provides over 120 creatives arts workshops to approximately 3000 individuals per month, in various communities of need throughout Los Angeles. In addition, the organization recently launched the first philanthropic studio and streaming platform, Elysium Bandini Studios, bringing you all exclusive content that combines emerging filmmakers with all-star talent. You can subscribe to Bandini Studios by donating to the cause. For more information on The Art of Elysium x James Goldcrown collaboration click HERE.
