RSVP – You are invited to a special screening of The Most Unknown prior to its release on Netflix on Friday, August 10th at the The Theater at the Ace Hotel Downtown LA. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Director Ian Cheney, astrophysicist Rachel Smith, microbiologist Jennifer Malady, astrobiologist Luke McKay, Jad Abumrad (Radiolab) and moderator Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Directed by Ian Cheney and produced by VICE/Motherboard in association with Science Sandbox, The Most Unknown is an epic documentary film that journeys with nine scientists to extraordinary parts of the world to uncover unexpected answers to some of humanity’s biggest questions. How did life begin? What is time? What is consciousness? By introducing researchers from diverse backgrounds, then dropping them into new, immersive field work, the film pushes the boundaries of how science storytelling is approached.
