designLAb celebrates PDC’s 40th year with a site-specific commissioned installation in the Blue Lobby by 2J that considers the history of Cesar Pelli/Gruen Associate's ground-breaking vision for the Pacific Design Center. Other Lobby exhibits include an installation by Won Ju Lim and Kenny Scharf’s Daisymobile (1975/2014), a Pontiac automobile the artist re-interpreted in terms of his iconic exuberant style.
