Ticketed – Turbo Kid has been heralded as one of the breakout midnight ‘cult’ movies of 2015 due to its glorious cartoon violence and sincere love of 80’s awesomeness. While each musician shares countless influences from the past, Neon Indian (Alan Palomo) and Toro Y Moi (Chaz Bundick) continue to push their styles in new sonic directions, and tonight they will battle.

Six films will make their Los Angeles premiere. Each film is paired with a special music performance that embodies a shared artistic sensibility, or a conversation with filmmakers and the luminaries that inspired them. NEXT FEST runs August 7-9, at the historic Theatre at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA.
