Ticketed – It’s the reunion of your slumber party dreams. Mondo is putting out a new drool-worthy vinyl edition of the JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS soundtrack. This calls for a celebration. So, for one night only Alamo Drafthouse, Mondo, and Birth.Movies.Death Presents are getting the band back to together. And we do mean literally.
On the big screen, it’s the smartest, sassiest comedy of the early ‘00s: JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS. In person, it’s the film’s brilliant co-directors/writers Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan, along with stars Rachael Leigh Cook and Tara Reid. PLUS — and try to play it cool, all you Ben Wyatts out there — singer Kay Hanley, front woman of ‘90s band Letters to Cleo and Josie’s singing voice in the film (no wonder that soundtrack is so killer).
