Whitesides is a seventeen year old singer-songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee. Jacob was first inspired at a Bluegrass festival in 2008, and ever since then he knew he wanted to do music for a living. Following the festival, Jacob set out to learn how to play guitar and sing. After playing around his hometown area of East Tennessee for awhile, two years ago Jacob started uploading cover songs to YouTube as a hobby. Almost ten million views later — here we are. Jacob is having a blast traveling throughout the country and meeting his fans known as “Whitesiders.”
