Open – Ace Hotel continues our live music series 5 at 5 where we, with help from our friends at FYF, Martin Guitar and Show Cobra, invite some of our favorite artists to do their thing at Ace Hotel New York or Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles.

This time, we are kicking off FYF weekend with live music at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. On Friday, August 21 at 5 pm, Philadelphia’s enigmatic indie outfit Hop Along plays a five-song set on the roof for 5 at 5 before making their way onto the stage for FYF Fest Sunday. USA Today described the freak-folk-cum-indie-punk sound as blending “story-songs with emotive vocals, jangly guitars and driving beats.” Friends and passersby can join us on the roof for a playful, raucous evening of music.
