Invite Only – Essence, the preeminent brand for African-American women, kicks off Grammy weekend with its 8th annual Black Women In Music Event. Erykah Badu, whose debut album Baduizm celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The evening will also feature a performance by Nigerian singer songwriter Tiwa Savage. Additional guests and special performers to be announced in the coming weeks. The 2017 Essence Black Women in Music event, sponsored by Lincoln, will feature special live performances.
