Invite Only – Each year, AFI Awards honors 10 outstanding films and 10 outstanding television programs deemed culturally and artistically representative of the year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image. AFI Awards 2016 honorees will be announced on December 8, with an invitation-only luncheon to follow on January 6, 2017.
