Ticketed – This year, Ace Hotel marks its 20th anniversary as a cultural platform and platform for people, cities and creative collaboration with a concert and dance party at the majestic cathedral to the arts, The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. On October 18, The Theatre throws open its doors to a multi-lineup concert and dance party, featuring friends old and new, with performances headlined by legendary Japanese artist Ryuichi Sakamoto. A longtime collaborator in Ace history, Sakamoto was brought to Seattle in the early 90s for Tasty Shows — a concert production company co-owned by one of Ace’s founders and one of the first promoters to bring bands like AIR and Portishead stateside.
