Invite Only – This year, the Gala pays tribute to Gloria Carter and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Gloria Carter is the inaugural recipient of the Everyday People Award. Ms. Carter co-founded the Shawn Carter Foundation with her son, JAY-Z, with the mission of helping individuals who face socio-economic hardships to further their education at post-secondary institutions.
