RSVP – Join us in welcoming artist Pia Habekost’s residency and her new (very gold) box installation. Pia habekost’s work takes its departure in typography. Her unique process of sampling and remixing information, combines digital and analogue techniques to create complex layered swarms. Through painting, cutting and layering various media, pia creates her own encrypted narratives that are both ambiguous in meaning and visually alluring.

Pia holds and M.A. in Architecture from the University of the Arts/ Berlin and a diploma in visual effects from Vancouver Film School. She worked as an architect for Zaha Hadid/ London and the design collective Nau in Berlin and L.A. Pia currently works and lives in Los Angeles.
