Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Grand Opening: Luxury at its Finest

Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s luxury brand of iconic landmark hotels, celebrated the official grand opening of Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a highly-anticipated hotel at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards, the gateway to Beverly Hills, on June 28 with an intimate ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening bash. In attendance at the Ribbon Cutting ceremony was owner Beny Alagem, Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta and Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse along with distinguished city and state officials, executives and tastemakers. Bandaloop aerial dancers descended from the 12-story building and performed down the side of the new property.

The evening celebration, set atop Beverly Hills’ hottest new rooftop, featured cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by famed-chef Jean-Georges Vongrichten, entertainment and more. “The Beverly Hills community has been hugely supportive since we opened our doors on June 1 and now with our grand opening, we celebrate the stunning new property and all of the guests that have already visited the hotel along with those that will visit in the coming weeks, months and years,” said owner Beny Alagem. Adjacent to The Beverly Hilton, the 12-story hotel is the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts’ first new build on the West Coast and second California property, joining the legendary Waldorf Astoria portfolio of now 26 hotels and resorts. Owned by Alagem Capital Group and clients of Guggenheim Partners, the hotel’s 119 deluxe rooms and 51 suites are part of a world-class, Art Deco-influenced design created by renowned interior design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon, Inc.
