UNIQLO Celebrates SS19 Collections featuring JW Anderson & Hana Tajima Collaborations

UNIQLO celebrated the launch of their Spring/Summer 2019 collections featuring designer collaborations by JW Anderson and Hana Tajima with an intimate cocktail party at SmogShoppe in Los Angeles. Attendees mingled in the lush outdoor courtyard and browsed through the newest styles from the JW Anderson & Hana Tajima collaborations and UNIQLO core collection while dining al fresco on light bites from DTLA Charcuterie. Guests also lounged in the Main Hall with the UNIQLO x JW Anderson campaign set as the background and enjoyed refreshing delights including Cucumber Cooler Sake Cocktail provided by TYKU Sake, Cuervo Paloma by Jose Cuervo, Tongue Dancer Wines, as well as Spicy Sangria and flavored spritzers courtesy of Yes Cocktail Co. Notable guests included Ashley Madekwe, Dylan Brosnan, Alanna Masterson, Georgie Flores, Katherine McNamara, Luke Baines as well as skateboarder Evan Mock, DJ Leslie Kirchhoff, and model Myles O’Neal among others.

The UNIQLO Spring/Summer 2019 collection features a myriad of items that symbolize British fashion presented in the witty design characteristic of JW Anderson and nicely accents UNIQLO’s everyday wardrobe, which combines high-quality materials, fit, and functionality. Among the various elements that make up the collection include men’s rugby shirts that were inspired by designer Jonathan Anderson’s father, women’s trench coats, as well as playful and colorful patterns, such as paisley and border strip patterns in addition to a suite of unisex basic items, all of which allow for a wide range of stylings. This new offering of LifeWear crosses generational and gender borders, bringing out each person’s unique style. The collection will launch on March 7th online and at select stores.
