Expanding on this concept, the brand is launching a “In Residence” a monthly gathering of friends to showcase local artists and brands in the space. Baxter of California 50th Anniversary Celebration, on February 25th, was an evening full of cheers, shaves and bourbon. The occasion took place at their authentic West Coast barbershop Baxter Finley’s. The evening started with some live tunes by The Mattson 2, a jazz duo composed of twin brothers Jonathan and Jared Mattson (see picture below) The celebration was also to honor Baxter of California’s boxset collaboration with The Surferider Foundation.
Invite Only – True to its California roots and surf heritage, Baxter of California (photo via) will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2015 by giving back to the coast, donating proceeds from a limited edition men’s grooming kit to the Surfrider Foundation.
