Support Let It Flow: Nyjah Huston Reminds Us that Clean Water is a Privilege

Sometimes it is easy to forget that things at the reach of our fingers, might be scarce in other parts of the world. Mega-star skateboarder Nyjah Huston with his mom Kelle Huston formed the ‘Let It Flow’ movement in 2010 to help furnish clean water to various parts of the world. In honor of their foundation, they are hosting an event this weekend to support their gracious act that cannot be missed. Join the Huston family at Nyjah Huston’s private skate park in San Clemente on June 12th with private skate sessions with Nyjah Huston himself and Tony Hawk. On top of it, you even get a free pair of Nike SBs upon entry. To purchase tickets for this rewarding cause, click HERE.

To gather more information on the ‘Let it Flow’ foundation and its purpose, we caught up with co-founder Kelle Huston. The mother of five, including professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston, was full of enthusiasm when speaking to us about the ‘Let it Flow’ movement and what it means to her. Not having clean water is a matter that hits close to home for Kelle and her family. She mentioned that they did not have running water when they lived in remote places including the Fiji Islands and Puerto Rico. Her sons used to carry the water back to the main house when they lived on a farm in Puerto Rico, which wasn’t always easy for them. Their family was affected by such conditions which is why they started the ‘Let it Flow’ foundation. In a couple of months, Kelle and Nyjah are actually going back where it all began to the Fiji Islands to provide clean filters to its residents. They haven’t been back since 1999 and are truly excited for this trip.
