New Trendy Mexican Restaurant Toca Madera Gets Celebrity Approval @ It’s Grand Opening in West Hollywood

Watch out, there’s a new hot spot in West Hollywood that you have to try to see what the hype is about. Toca Madera, LA’s newest modern organic Mexican restaurant from EveryDay Life (EDL) located on 3rd and La Cienega, hosted a Dia de Los Muertos themed celebration in honor of its grand opening, which brought out a pack of celebs.

Patrick Schwarzenegger came early avoiding the crowds and entered through the back. Once inside, he enjoyed a table with friends as they dined on the delicious Mexican appetizers. Not long after, Fantastic Four Michael B. Jordan joined Jhene Aiko and Emmanuelle Chriqui in the back patio. Around 11:00 p.m., Secrets and Lies star Ryan Phillippe snuck in wearing a baseball cap and sat at a private booth in the outdoor patio with girlfriend Paulina Slagter. The two kept to themselves and were seen enjoying the live performance by House of Kaya. VIP guests enjoyed delicious Mexican appetizers, including options from their main and vegan menus and sipped fresh seasonal cocktails as they experienced DJ sounds by Ruexx through the fully-equipped world-class sound system.

Enough about celebrities, lets talk about why we are here: the food. Toca Madera’s Chef Raymond Alvarez refers to his culinary approach as “Barrio Style Fine Dining,” influenced by traditional Latin flavors, classical training and his favorite child-hood dishes. He also created an entire separated menu that is vegan based. Dishes offered include: Table-side Guacamole, Wagyu Hot Stone, Sashimi Agua Chile, Ensenada-Style Fish Tacos, Barrio Crudités and Mixed Mushroom & Sweet Corn Tacos, among other dishes.
