On June 29, atop Petit Ermitage’s trendy rooftop overlooking West Hollywood, Moët Hennessy hosted the official Los Angeles launch party for Volcan De Mi Tierra, the luxury portfolio’s first and highly anticipated tequila to hit the market. Guests including Camilla Belle, Guy Burnet, Louis Aguirre, Keith & Kenny Lucas and George Kotsiopoulos enjoyed the tequila and refreshing cocktails made with delicious Volcan De Mi Tierra’s Blanco. The exciting event included Guadalajaran inspired hor d’oevers, and upbeat music from Trio Ellas (pictured above), an all-female Latin-American music group. CEO and President of Volcan De Mi Tierra, Trent Fraser, shared a toast with the crowd and sampled the very special “batch 1,” which was inscribed onto each bottle being served. “This spectacular launch event is a true celebration of everything that encompasses Volcan – great tequila that is authentic to its roots and best enjoyed amongst friends. I, along with the highly-regarded Gallardo family of Mexico, have been working on bringing Volcan De Mi Tierra to the marketplace for more than two years. We are thrilled that we finally get to share the Volcan De Mi Tierra experience with our friends in Los Angeles,” Fraser said. There was also a stunning pool float with volcanic flames and The Salt Bar, where guests customized their own Volcan De Mi Tierra Blanco margaritas using a diverse selection of salts.
