Long gone are the days that men’s wardrobe revolved around stiff suits and brown loafers. Nowadays, there’s an endless amount of ‘must haves’ for men and no wardrobe is complete without these essentials. We caught up with Menswear Expert Ash Nouri’s to give us an exclusive look at some of his favorite fashion statements for everyday wear. Ash said, “It didn’t take long for me to realize – clothing is one of the first impressions people have of you, so it’s important to make it count.” Social media has played a large role in his integration into the industry because it makes interacting with other creatives infinitely easier. There are many brands and designers that he has worked with whose introductions have all been made online. Constant engagement is the name of the game and having confidence in reaching out to new people is how everything begins.
Nothing’s more satisfying than spending little to no time deciding what to wear when
going out or even just dinner. This is where a quality jacket comes into play. Whether it’s a bomber, denim, or even leather (I don’t judge), you’ll know you picked the right jacket when you can throw it on with ease and it brings everything together.

– Affordable: Levi’s Buttoned Jacket ($98)
A quality pair of sunglasses can last you a lifetime, which is why it’s important to choose one that fits your face (more info on that HERE– Thank you, LensCrafters). With so many new sunglasses brands debuting, they’re becoming increasingly more affordable. A word to the wise - ‘affordable’ can sometimes be synonymous to low quality. Look towards higher end brands if you want your glasses to stand the test of time (which is a plus thinking about how much they get banged around).
– High end: Prada Square Frame ($325)
– Affordable: Jack and Jones Aviator ($24)
Let’s face it, sometimes our pockets just won’t cut it. Sure - our wallets, cell phones, and chapstick fit well enough, but going on a weekend trip or even to the gym requires some more room. In all those other instances where space is necessary, a duffle bag is a man’s best friend. We’ve all seen the classic Louis Vuitton glossy duffles, but the new generation men’s bag is built for any occasion.
– High end: The Last Conspiracy New Weekend Bag ($946)
– Affordable: ASOS Carry-all Bag ($56)
Whether you’re a diehard Hypebeast or you like adding a few inches to finally reach that 6’0 mark, a pair of sneakers is a necessary part of every wardrobe. With the current street-style phenomenon, nothing is more in than a new pair of glossy high tops - a great investment considering the only downside is the time it takes to tie them up.
– High end: Saint Laurent Court Classic ($595)
– Affordable: Religion Blind High Top ($84)
Solid White T’s
When I’m talking about basics, I’m not referring to the white t-shirt that’s been in your closet for the past 5 years - even though you have no idea where it came from. A good short or long sleeved T should fit your torso and look good under a jacket. Hang these shirts up because if you splurge a little on these essentials, the quality and feel will show.
– High end: James Perse Plain T-shirt ($142)
– Affordable: Selected Homme T ($40)
