Academy and Grammy Award-winning Jamie Foxx and OVO Ryan Silverstein joined forces February 17, 2018 for All-Star Weekend and hosted the first annual ChaCha The Wave Celebrity Charity Basketball Tournament. The event took place at Jamie Foxx’s extravagant Thousand Oaks estate, where guests enjoyed food from the popular Fat Sal’s restaurant chain, gifting of Jamie Foxx’s Prive Revaux sunglass line, as well as Lyfted Extracts. Musicians Tyga, Smoke Purpp, Jamie Foxx, Chance The Rapper, and Trinidad James played in basketball tournament. Chance The Rapper was the lead scorer, schooling all his opponents. The star-studded celebrity attendees enjoyed beverages provided by Bio Steel, Essential Life House, Tequila Avion, Bumbu Rum, Tito’s Vodka, and Luc Belaire. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the Jamie Foxx Foundation and The Spirit League Foundation, which provides for the health, education, and welfare of children throughout the world, including housing, and HIV/AIDS issues in Africa and Haiti. It’s purpose is to also to facilitate literacy and adoption programs as well as exposure to music, comedy, and the arts for children of all ages.
