Girl Cult Defines Itself as The Ultimate Gen Z Women Celebration with Tyra Banks, Kimora Lee Simmons, Willow Smith and More!

Girl Cult deserves a “Job well done” speech…

In acknowledgment of the festival’s success, let’s take a moment to focus on its importance. In its first year Girl Cult has set out to be the ultimate Gen Z destination for all things fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Spearheaded by Galore Founders, Creative Directors, and Editors-In-Chief Prince Chenoa and Jacob Dekat, Girl Cult was cultivated to bring Generation Z women together through music to celebrate their importance with all that has taken place within our society.

While the festival initially promotes itself as a music festival, attendees were able to soak up some knowledge during some Q&A sessions featuring some of today’s top influencers. Female powerhouses Tyra Banks, Gigi Gorgeous, Kimora and Ming Lee Simmons, split their time between the Rooftop Queen Stage and the Goddess Stage. The Fonda is a pretty big venue, and Galore made sure to utilize it in its entirety. Upon entry of the venue, Gen Z attendees were greeted with the perfect “girly” decor which led to the Goddess Stage. In between sets, they were able to choose between staying in front of the stage, going to the balcony to enjoy the show from a seated area or head to the theater’s rooftop to check out the Rooftop Queen Stage.

Throughout the day performances by Diana Gordon, Sevyn Streeter, Justine Skye, Jesse Jo Stark, Snoh Aalegra, Cailin Russo, Leaf, and Quin took place. They warmed the crowd up for festival headliners Willow Smith and Chloe & Halle. To see young women so rooted in their beliefs to not only uplift the women in their community but push them forward was inspiring. The safe haven Girl Cult created allowed for much-needed expression and unison amongst the group; something that should be felt across the nation.

Girl Cult is described as a festival for kickass women and allies who want to come together and create a new vision, and that is exactly what took place on Sunday. From 1pm-11pm both groups were able to come together under one roof to celebrate those ideas through music and conversation. Everyone enjoyed free food, drinks, and clothing giveaways from favorite girl boss retailer, Nasty Gal.

In the crowds were mothers, sisters, friends, and partners who executed Girl Cult’s mission and stressed the importance of freedom and equality amongst all. With year one’s success being on full display there’s no telling what year two will entail.
