Your third-favorite Guardian of the Galaxy has officially locked down the Terminator’s daughter: Chris Pratt announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger on January 14.

The star posted on his Instagram, with the caption, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”

It’s estimated that nearly 68% of Americans claim to attend church services occasionally, but Pratt’s faith is at the forefront in his social media announcement.

And this isn’t the first time his love for God went hand-in-hand with his love for Schwarzenegger. Though the couple has kept their personal life fairly private, Pratt has also thanked God for bringing the pair together on Schwarzenegger’s birthday.

The two reportedly got together after meeting at the Zoe Church in Los Angeles last year, in part thanks to Maria Shriver, Katherine Schwarzenegger’s mother, who set the two up.

The first rumors of Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s relationship began to swirl last year when the two were spotted in June of 2018 sharing a picnic. Following this public outing, the couple was seen enjoying lunch with Pratt’s son, five-year-old Jack, suggesting the pair was getting a little more serious.

They are among the 71% of Americans who claim that religion is an important part of their lives, with 51% of these respondents claiming that religion is a very important part. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the duo gets hitched this summer. Pratt only made his relationship with Schwarzenegger public just over a month ago and the two were dating for less than a year before their engagement. With June being the most popular month to get married, we might see the pair get married in only a few short months.
