RSVP – Flux Screening Series at the Hammer Museum celebrates fall with a program that includes the Los Angeles premiere of Pippa Bianco’s excellent portrait film Picturing Barbara Kruger, the big screen return of Sam Spiegel’s N.A.S.A. project with Jihad Love Squad, Sylvain Chomet’s biting animated video Carmen for Stromae, Wolf Alice’s You’re A Germ by Chris Grieder, FACTS short film Seven Maybe Eight, Ethan Tobman’s latest work for Phases’ I’m In Love With My Life plus much more.
Special guests joining us for the evening: filmmakers Dimitri Basil, Brian Billow, Pippa Bianco, FACTS, Chris Grieder, Sam Spiegel and Ethan Tobman. The evening will also include new music videos for Pharrell Williams, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Phases and more. Filmmaker presentations and a courtyard after-party, with DJ set by Sam Spiegel, will follow the screening.
