If you drove down Sunset Blvd over the weekend, you most likely saw a giant crowd lined up for the Grand Opening of Doughbrik’s Pizza on November 12th. YouTube sensation and entrepreneur David Dobrik partnered with fellow Chicagoan and longtime friend Ilya Fedorovich for a new Pizza joint located next to Saddle Ranch and across from Sunset Towers. Fans slept overnight to be the first to try out Dobrik and Fedorovich’s personal spin on the traditional Chicago-style pizza. “I have always loved creating things for others to enjoy and everyone enjoys good pizza. Following the eventful restaurant opening on Saturday, November 12th, filled with raffle prizes and unexpected surprises, the celebration continued at Bar Lis on Sunday for friends and family. Bar Lis was decorated from head to toe in Doughbrick color schemes with vintage Italian-style photos of their whole crew. Fun Fact: 65 pounds of tomatoes were on display for event decor, which have been donated to the Ronald McDonald House for use with meals, along with canned tomatoes for their pantry. David had his whole family in attendance in celebration of his first venture in the food business. Other guests in attendance included Diplo, Josh Peck, and, Tana Mongeau.
