Stylists Brit and Kara Elkin joined by prominent DJ Myles Hendrik hosted an exclusive party for ALDO celebrating summer and the brand’s Bold Botanicals collection. Setting the stage at the renowned Sowden House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Los Feliz, guests were able to let their hair down and enjoy a tropical experience to celebrate the season and the latest collection. Nothing conveys tropical glamour like a palm print, and Aldo’s take on this iconic imagery is no exception. All attendees walked up to the mysterious home and were in for a desirable evening. Before leaving for the night guests shopped the Aldo Shoe Bar where women were handed a custom Stessy heel created exclusively for this event, and men were gifted one of five new styles (Cartyville, Eladorwen, Alan, Vianello or Astaria). Only 300 of the exclusive Stessy pump were made in a green metallic accented with the botanicals palm-leaf print on the sole of the shoe, to continue the exotic nature of the party and season. A delectable dessert table was overflowing with small bites by Bottega Louie in colors specially created to match the party. Guests had their fill of macarons from their signature Croquembouche tower, as well as mini pastries, lemon meringues and salted caramel eclairs to name a few of the treats.
