Leading up to the opening of Nordstrom Del Amo Fashion Center on Friday, October 9, a fancy gala was held on October 6th with more than 1,500 people attendees. The two-level, 138,000 square-foot store held this charity event where attendees enjoyed special beauty demonstrations, gifts with purchase and other fun surprises. Zendaya And Nancy O’Dell were the official hosts and had fun trying on the items that Nordstrom carries. “We’re thrilled Nordstrom will join Del Amo Fashion Center,” said David Contis, president of Simon’s Mall platform. “Their arrival highlights our efforts to further enhance the property’s retail cache as the preeminent shopping destination for the South Bay and Palos Verdes peninsula communities. More than $150,000 was raised and split between two local charities, Walk With Sally and Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital.
