On Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, Billboard celebrated its 2016 Power 100 honorees with a celebration at Beverly Hills’ Bouchon, sponsored by American Airlines, Citi and HBO Vinyl. The annual bash recognized 100 of the music industry’s top heavyweights and influencers as Billboard editor-in-chief Tony Gervino presented the night’s coveted honor, the Power 100 award, to Lucian Grainge, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group, for the second consecutive year. The Clive Davis Visionary Award was presented to Rob Stringer from music mogul Clive Davis himself.
Other top honorees included Michael Rapino (No. 2); Apple executives Jimmy Iovine, Trent Reznor, Eddy Cue and Robert Kondrk, who together took the No. 3 spot; and Doug Morris (No. 4). Among the crowded party, guests also included musicians Janelle Monáe, Andra Day, JoJo, DNCE, Lana Del Rey and Elle King. For a complete list of honorees click HERE.
