John R Hamilton is a renowned photographer, known for his snaps of celebrities such as Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. Hamilton, who passed exactly 18 years ago, began his career as a magazine photographer and segued into movie and celebrity photography in 1956, shooting on the set of the John Ford classic western The Searchers, which starred Wayne. Hamilton continued taking photographs on the sets of some 77 films, including
