Rebecca Minkoff presented her Spring 2017 fashion show at The Grove Los Angeles to a massive crowd of fashion enthusiasts. The LA show marked the designer’s West Coast collection debut as opposed to usual New York City. “The inspiration was California so I thought let’s take it [the show] to California and have it outside to enjoy the weather,” Minkoff explained. All the clothing from the collection was immediately available for purchase right after the models walked the runway. The “See Now Buy Now” Collection incorporated West coast essentials such as Birksenstock-inspired sandals, ruffled floral dresses, and colorful knit sweaters with “California” across the front. For the must have pieces for spring, Minkoff listed items such as “an RM dress, RM pair of shoes, a little leather jacket and TWO bags!”

Celebrity guests Keke Palmer, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erika Christensen, Jessica Szohr, Katie Cassidy, Lauren Conrad, and Taissa Farmiga—just to name a few, were gifted with Ladurée macarons upon arrival at the front row. The fashion show had mix of models, actresses and influencers walk the runway. (provigil) Fashion blogger-influencer Aimee Song opened the show, followed by actresses Jamie Chung and Victoria Justice. Supermodel Coco Rocha closed the show while accompanied by a choir performance by singer-songwriter, MICLK. After attending guests cleared the runway, the models boarded The Grove’s trolley train for the perfect finale photo op.
