Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles and Glamour Magazine hosted hundreds of Angeleno’s on October 27th, 2015 for an exclusive rendition of the popular monthly boutique shopping experience, Full Moon Bazaar, hosted at LA’s hottest backyard venue and featuring a soulful performance over dusty hip-hop beats from New York showstoppers LION BABE. Constantly embracing polarity, mixing and matching sounds and visuals to create something new and unique, exiting and powerful – the group is currently on tour supporting Disclosure. LION BABE’s self-titled debut EP is led by their single Jump Hi which includes a mesmerizing Nina Simone sample and a guest verse from hip-hop artist Childish Gambino. The group has also collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Jeff Bhasker, Andrew Wyatt and Al Shux.

Supermodel Shaun Ross introduced the hot New York duo to a cheering crowd which anticipated the imminent dancing over the soulful beats and smooth, sexy vocals. The beautiful Rachel McCord celebrated her birthday under the full moon during the event with her hubby Rick Schrimer and friends. Dr. Roger Tsai surgeon to the stars was spotted at Rachel McCord’s birthday. Big Bag Theory was one of our favorite stop of the Bazaar, created by good friend Lailee Mavadat. The bags, which are wallet sized and turn into a carrying bar, are perfect if you are on-the-go and need to carry more than you can handle, especially in all of their fun designs and patterns. It felt great to be back on our stomping grounds. the Full Moon Bazaar has always been one of our favorite monthly installments and this particular evening reminded us why we adore it so.
