Minnie Mouse Celebrates National Polka Dot Day with Sarah Hyland and a Red Carpet Gown Designed by Christian Siriano #RockTheDots

Fashion trends come and go, but Minnie Mouse manages to remain a fashion icon throughout the ages. This year, Disney is going all out celebrating everything Minnie starting off with “Minnie Rocks The Dots” in Los Angeles. The celebration started early yesterday with a private tour of the exhibition for the special first guest, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s little one, Blue Ivy. She had a fabulous afternoon dancing, playing dress-up, and exploring the exhibit alongside gal pal, Minnie!

That same day, Sarah Hyland joined Minnie Mouse and Christian Siriano at the launch of “Minnie Rocks The Dots”, an interactive fashion and art exhibition celebrating Minnie as a global style icon, in Los Angeles on National Polka Dot Day (January 22nd). While Minnie sparkled wearing a bespoke custom dress designed by CFDA designer Christian Siriano, Sarah Hyland wore the matching Soleil Dot Blouse and short set by Line & Dot. Christian dressed up Minnie Mouse in a fuschia dress covered in white ribbons which were covered in Swarovski crystals. The one fashion advice that he shared with us is that “You can never second guess yourself”.

“Minnie Rocks The Dots” kicks off a year long celebration honoring Minnie’s iconic style and global influence on fashion. The installation at The Paper Agency in Los Angeles will be open to the public on Saturday, January 23rd from 12 pm-8 pm for one day only! The exhibit takes fans on a journey through the history of of Minnie’s influence and pop culture dating back to her debut in 1928. “Minnie Rocks The Dots” showcases a look at Minnie’s newest and upcoming collaborations with Lauren Conrad, UGG, Kate Spade and Sephora. Additionally, the space features a Dot Shop where attendees can purchase limited edition products designed specially for the launch of “Minnie Rocks The Dots”.
