GUESS Celebrates 35 Years with Opening of Exhibition at the FIDM Museum & Galleries

In celebration of ​GUESS’ 35t​h​ Anniversary​, the global lifestyle brand famous for creating the stonewash, the high waisted Marilyn 3-zip jean, and iconic ad campaigns, unveiled, ​GUESS: 35 Years & Still Dreaming​, ​a retrospective exhibition, at the ​FIDM Museum & Galleries​. The exhibition​ ​offers an in-depth exploration of denim and the pop culture moments that solidified ​GUESS​ as a pioneer in fashion, essentially creating the Los Angeles denim industry. “This exhibition is a representation of GUESS’ place at the forefront of fashion and its culture. It’s also an homage to Los Angeles, our home, our roots, and our legacy in creating an industry here in our city,” says ​Paul Marciano, Chief Creative Officer for GUESS?, Inc.​ “I am happy to share this special tribute with you. Our heritage is forever ingrained in denim, all denim out there, and this will continue to be the case for the next 35 years and beyond.” Celebrities, social media influencers and special guests were personally walked through the exhibit by Paul Marciano​, while sipping on SVEDKA Vodka and enjoying music by DJ Lindsay Luv.

GUESS: 35 Years & Still Dreaming​ ​opens to the public on June 6t​h​ and runs through July 8t​h​, 2017, The FIDM Museum & Galleries (919 S Grand Ave #250, Los Angeles, CA 90015) is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.. Closed Sunday/Monday.
