Foodies and Instagrammers Come Together IRL at The Infatuation’s Inaugural EEEEEATSCon Digested by Datenightfoodies

Billed as the food festival for the Instagram generation, The Infatuation’s EEEEEATSCon did not disappoint. With some of LA and New York’s top restaurants on the floor, the food festival brought together foodies and Instagrammers alike. 3,000 people attended the May 20 food festival, including notable names like Tyra Banks, B.J Novak, Kate Bosworth, and Jackie Cruz.

Standout dishes included the chicken tikka tater tots from DTLA’s Badmaash and the cannolis from Eataly, opening in Century City this fall. The line for Pasquale Jones, in town for one day only, was long throughout the day – but so worth the wait.

Cult favorite La Croix had a strong presence at the event, handing out their famous bubbly, branded pins, totes, and hats. The wall art made of La Croix cases was just one of many Instagramable installations featured at EEEEEATSCon. Other highlights included the Love Wall by @jgoldcrown, the Hedley and Bennett wall, and the “Coffee Cups of the World” exhibit.

The event also featured panel discussions ranging from a talk on “Cannabis, Food, and Innovation” to a fireside chat with Nancy Silverton. There were also performances by The Knocks and Lizzo.

Judging by the photos flooding Instagram, ours included, the day definitely had Fyre Festival Beeeeeat!
