JaVale McGee, NBA star, developed the #JUGLIFE Foundation from promoting a hashtag on social media. The NBA star noticed that he felt so much better after drinking a gallon of water a day. His muscles were more relaxed, his body was better hydrated, and his energy level increased. This happened because water helps every cell and organ in the body function properly; it regulates one’s metabolism and reduces the risk of diseases. JaVale was so inspired by his health improvements, that he shared his #JUGLIFE challenge with his coaches and teammates. He and Marques continued to share the hashtag on all social media posts and the #JUGLIFE name went viral around the world. Thus, the #JUGLIFE Foundation was launched in December, 2013 with a sincere passion and commitment to help improve life all around the world. The goal of the company is to increase awareness and educate society on the importance of drinking water on a daily basis to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
