“Drawn In”: Beauty Illustration in the Digital Age Exhibition and Private Opening Night

August 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Invite Only – celebrate the launch of brand new makeup collective Pinkie Swear with the opening night event for “Drawn In: Beauty Illustration in the Digital Age,” a special exhibition curated by Sarah Brown. The exhibition will be open to the public daily at the Wilding Cran Gallery from 12-7pm from August 16 through the 30. The exhibition will help to celebrate the launch of “Pinkie Swear,” a brand new makeup collective created by a team of working artists that helps to turn makeup into a masterpiece.

“Drawn In” will feature the work of nine artists from around the world, each of whom was handpicked by award-winning writer and editor Sarah Brown: Monica Ahanonu, Roya Ansari, Gill Button, Petra Eriksson, Pari Dust, Laxmi Hussain, Vincent Moustache, Martine Spencer, and Astrid Vos, in celebration of the launch of Pinkie Swear’s art world inspired makeup collection. The first product to be unveiled is “Clip Paint,” a superstar lip pigment with high-impact color and tons of moisture. Clip Paint is housed in a marker-like applicator with a precision brush and a custom clip-on cap, creating a wearable beauty product. Created by a team of working artists, and made in the United States, Pinkie Swear’s products are now available exclusively online at www.pinkieswear.com.
