on April 12th, 2018, the House of Dior revealed its newest men’s fragrance, Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum, at a dinner held at the Pioneertown Motel in Pioneertown, California. At the “Sauvage Motel,” guests were invited to experience various elements of the fragrance via interactive moments throughout the motel’s grounds. Magic Hour, is when the sun sets and nature awakens, is when Sauvage Eau de Parfum’s rugged sensuality comes alive. Cocktails were served during the sunset Magic Hour, followed by an elegant seated dinner. Instead of simply increasing the concentration of the eau de toilette, house perfumer-creator François Demachy enriched the signature freshness of Sauvage with warm spices and vanilla to create a distinct and bold take on the classic fragrance. “I wanted to maintain Sauvage’s character and its confident, very virile temperament while keeping its strong faithful scent,” explains Demachy, who emphasized each of the dominant notes in the original composition and modulated their presence to create a new olfactory landscape. Guests present at the event, dressed by Dior and Dior Homme were: Darren Criss, Damson Idris, Amine, Myles O’neal, Michael Lockley, Paris Jackson, Britt Robertson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Olivia Culpo, Georgie Flores, Mia Moretti, Marianna Hewitt, and Janice Joostema.
