Boy George celebrated the New Year with an exhilarating performance of his biggest hits to a packed house in the Blossom Ballroom of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. He was originally supposed to perform on the rooftop of the Hotel, but due to weather conditions, the stage had to be moved inside.
George took the stage inside the hotel’s ballroom around 11:50 p.m. as he amplified the room with an epic countdown to the New Year. The crowd went wild at midnight as the Culture Club frontman kicked off 2016 with a medley of his greatest hits including Karma Chameleon, Miss Me Blind and more. Following his performance the singer stopped to take pictures with adoring fans as he made his way back to the VIP table to join his friends. In true Hollywood fashion, George and friends celebrated until the early morning hours.
The show was part of the iconic hotel’s exciting New Year’s Eve bash that spanned the property, also featuring a poolside performance by Theophilus London.
