Delicious Drink Recipes from Tequila Don Julio’s 2016 Elegant Cinco De Mayo Fiesta in Venice Beach

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
1 dash Yellow Chartreuse
3/4 oz Lime Juice
1-2 Strawberries
1 Mint Sprig
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
2 1/4 oz Soda Water

Preparation:
1. Combine strawberries, mint and sugar in an empty shaker and muddle well.
2. Add Tequila Don Julio, Yellow Chartreuse, lime juice and ice. Shake well.
3. Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass and top with soda water.
4. Garnish with mint sprig.

Its So Easy

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
1/2 oz Lime Juice
3/4 oz Grapefruit Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
2 sprigs Fresh Basil
3 oz Ginger Beer

Preparation:
1. Add basil to an empty shaker and muddle lightly.
2. Add Tequila Don Julio Blanco, lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup and ice. Shake well.
3. Strain over fresh ice into a Collins Glass and top with ginger beer.
4. Garnish with basil sprig.

Collins Glass

Horchata

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Reposado
4 oz Horchata
1/2 Spiced Simple Syrup
1 Pinch Black Lava Salt

Preparation:
1. Combine Tequila Don Julio Reposado, Horchata, spiced simple syrup and black lava salt in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
2. Strain over fresh ice into a highball glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange zest.

Jalisco Coco

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Coconut Syrup*
Lemon Wheel for Garnish

*Coconut Syrup Ingredients:
1 fresh young coconut
Granulated Sugar

*Coconut Syrup Preparation:
1. Combine the water from a fresh young thai coconut with equal parts sugar.
2. Stir until dissolved.

Preparation:
1. Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, lemon juice and coconut syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
2. Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass and garnish with lemon wheel.
